Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of fto.ragulikaip.com and the patent search and analysis services provided by Ragu and Lika IP Private Limited ("Ragulika IP"). By using the website or engaging our services you agree to these Terms.

1. Services and scope

We provide patent and technical-literature searches and analysis. The scope, jurisdictions, deliverables, price and delivery date of each engagement are fixed in our written quote, which you accept before work begins.

2. Online portal and automated reports

• Accounts. You may create an account with your email address and a password, or with "Continue with Google". You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account. One account per person; accounts are for your own business use.
• Automated reports. Reports generated on the portal are produced by software from public patent databases, without human review unless you buy an expert-verified upgrade. They are technical screening tools: they may miss relevant documents or misjudge relevance, and they must not be relied on as the sole basis for business or legal decisions.
• Launch offer. While we offer free automated searches, the number of free searches per month is shown on the portal and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. Paid services are charged as shown before you pay.
• Fair use. Do not misuse the portal — for example by automated scraping, attempting to access other users' data, or submitting content you have no right to share. We may suspend accounts that do.

3. Not legal advice

Our reports are technical search and analysis work product. They are not legal advice or a legal opinion. See our Disclaimer.

4. Your responsibilities

You confirm that you are entitled to share the information you provide, that it is accurate, and that you will not send unlawful content or malware.

5. Fees and payment

Fees are as stated in your quote and exclude applicable GST. Work begins once payment (or the agreed advance) is received. Payments made through Razorpay are also subject to Razorpay's terms. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Confidentiality

We sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement with you before any technical disclosure; for portal searches, you accept our confidentiality terms when you start a search. Our obligations are summarised in our Confidentiality & NDA Policy.

7. Intellectual property

You own your disclosures. On full payment you may use the report for your internal business purposes and share it with your advisers, investors and acquirers under confidentiality. Our templates, methods and tools remain ours.

8. Limitation of liability

No search can guarantee that every relevant document has been found. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction.
